- 2 vuosia sitten Power of love.. part 1 It was a beautiful day full of light. The sky was light blue and the forest was dressed in the dark green color of the ending spring. In the lake in the middle of the forest the waters were shining as the sun was mirroring upon them. The peace and stillness of the waters was suddenly disturbed by the calm swimming of a group of beautiful white swans. They were going together like they were performing a harmonical swim. Suddenly another beautiful swan came among them. It was different from the others as it was more beautiful and was wearing a small crown on its head. The birds on the trees flew up and the peace of the place was disturbed when horse steps started to sound in the close distance and they were coming closer and closer. After a brief time three horses showed behind some bushes near the coast of the lake. It was prince Anduin and two of his friends who were hunting in the forest. They were having bows and crossbows around their torsos. Prince Anduin was the lone child of the King , he was wearing the royal color clothing consisting most of blue and gold. His black hair was almost falling inside his green eyes but a well placed holder was keeping them back forming a beautiful ponytail. Reaching the lake shores they went down from the horses to let them drink some water before they could continue.“Look over there ! ” said Colin one of the hunters pointing at the swans.“They are beautiful..” Anduin said , and he started to slowly move closer to see them better. As he was observing them more and more he noticed a little crown on the head of one of the swans. The strange swan as it saw the prince open its wings and made a small bow. As they were watching the beautiful creature ,they didn’t notice a strange looking owl that landed on a tree branch just behind them. The owl’s eyes started glowing and immediately the swans started to scatter away scared. The crowned swan started to back up in fear. Anduin was watching carefully what was happening but the sound of a prepping bow took his attention. Olaf, the other hunter had prepared an arrow and was drawing his bow ready to shoot. “We can take it with us..” he said. Prince Anduin jumped..“NO wait..” he didn’t finish his words and Olaf was turned to stone. Colin was startled and making one step back ..“Sorcery!! He..he turned to stone!! My prince this looks like an enchanted forest the swan with the crown must have magic abilities!”“No.. I can’t believe that…” “We must go.. we..we must not stay not even a moment more” Both of them climbed on their horses and started riding away from there, not noticing the strange looking owl that was the source of this magic.. The kings castle was standing magnificent on the top of the hill in the middle of the kingdom. It had tall towers and big walls . The keep was standing proudly in the middle of the castle yard and around it 3 towers were reaching the sky. One for the queen, one for Anduin and one for military purposes. The prince was in his room looking outside the window towards the place where the enchanted forest and lake was. Colin was with him.“It is indeed very strange” Anduin said.“I don’t see anything strange. The swan with the crown has some kind of mystery. Don’t forget that no one until now has managed to reach the other side of the lake..”“I can’t believe that that noble and beautiful swan had something to do with magic..”“But you saw it with your own eyes. Olaf became as stone while he was trying to shot that swan. I believe it’s the best for you not to ever go there again. ”Colin’s words were interrupted by a maid who came inside the room.“Your highness the queen...” she said as she was introducing the entrance of the queen who was coming in the room. Anduin bowed.“Mother.”“Anduin. As you know tomorrow you have your 21st year old birthday. After your father died you are the only successor and from tomorrow you will be the king. ““Yes.”“Tomorrow at the dance you will choose the woman that you will marry.”Anduin looked a little surprised..“The woman that I will marry ?”“Exactly. The king that will rule must have a queen at his side. Do not worry I have personally picked the 6 most beautiful princesses of the around kingdoms to come here tomorrow. You will choose which one you want to become your queen and the queen of our country.”“But mother.. isn’t it too soon to choose for a bride?”“No Anduin, it’s time for you to get a queen .Or maybe you have one already in your mind? One princess that you saw and fell in love with ?” Anduin moved his head negatively.“No mother there is none.”“Then you must choose.”She said as she turned away and start walking out of the room. The maid went out with her.After the queen left the room Colin approached.“Congratulations , my prince.”“Colin, stop being funny.” He said irritated “I don’t understand why tomorrow that I ll become king to choose someone that I don’t love to make her my queen. And I don’t see the reason for congratulations.”“I’m sorry my prince.” Colin said and lowered his head.“But it is the will of my mother and I am the prince and I cannot deny her.”“You were born as heir to the throne and you can’t change your fate. ”“I know this very well.” He said and moved towards the open window. His sadness was shown as he made his hands as fists and hit the window frame … Suddenly in his mind came the image of the swan as it was looking at him, and turning his head he looked towards the area that was the mystical lake. More images of the magic swan came to his head..“Colin..” “Prince, what is wrong? What happened?”“This strange swan with the crown I must see it again. It has charmed me beyond imagining”“It is because it has cast a spell on you..”“If this is true then I must see it with my own eyes. And then I will beg it to make Olaf a human again. ”“Don’t do this my prince because maybe something bad can happen to you. ”“No Colin. I cannot believe that a majestic and beautiful swan like that has anything to do with sorcery.”“But..”“Don’t try to stop me Colin.” He said and continue to watch outside the window lost in his own thoughts.The sun was almost finishing its daily journey and slowly was going to its resting place, shining upon the newly formed human statue of Olaf. The strange swan separated from the group and started to move away. Prince Anduin and Colin showed again behind the statue and walked towards the lake.“Patience Olaf my friend” Anduin said as he was passing his stoned friend. “Look Colin the swan with the crown is leaving. Lets follow it.” He said and started to ride faster towards the swans location.“Yes my prince.” Colin said and started to follow him..The swan was swimming unaware that it was followed by the two noble young men. After a while the road ended but that was not stopping the determined Anduin to reach his goal. As he moved out of the road he started to climb a rough hill in order to catch up with the swan. “I ll try to catch up you must wait for me !!” Colin said as he was finding difficulties to follow the stubborn prince. The way of the hill leaded up to the mountain and from there following a small dangerous path he ended up in a cave entrance. “I want to see where this beautiful swan is going.” He wondered and he entered the cave. As he entered the cave the sound of his horse awoke the local inhabitants and a swarm of bats attacked him. His horse freaked out and tried to flee as it was scared. Anduin hopped down from it and let it run outside. He was determined to go on. The next room of the cave was full of needled vines. “Horrible place ” he thought as he pulled out his sword and started to cut his way through them. The swan was swimming alongside with the river that was going inside the cave. Prince Anduin was right behind it. Soon the cave reached an end. Outside it was already dark. The moon was shining in the night sky next to a magnificent tower. The tower was build on a huge rock on a small island in the water. The swan was heading towards the lower stairs of the tower. The prince hide behind a big rock and was watching the swan coming to the shore. Trees were on the shore obstructing the view of it for a while.. To the prince’s surprise when the swan hide from sight a bright white light shined behind the trees and from the shadow that was created from it he saw the swan to start transforming … to.. a woman. - 2 vuosia sitten Power of love.. part 2 In another part of the tower Angoz was sleeping in his huge bed. He had short grey hair and a small chin beard. He was snoring loudly. A small crow came in the room and immediately transformed to a girl. It was Angoz’s daughter , Luanel. “Father..” she said “Father wake up! “ The mage slowly opened his eyes. “Why are you so tired ?” “I turned a man into stone today.. He was trying to hurt Luna.. It took a lot of my energy.” “I think that you are crazy for her..” “Yes yes! I am the king of the forest and tonight I ll again ask for Luna to marry me. Maybe tonight I ll be lucky and she will say yes.!” “You are dreaming. She will never say yes to you. Today she met another man, a prince.” “Do I hear good? How it happened? Who is this man?” “It was the handsome and brave prince Anduin.” “The prince..? The heir to the throne?” “Yes and he even invited her to his celebration tomorrow to choose her as his wife.” “NO I will never allow and forgive that.” He said and like a tornado he rushed the stairs towards Luna’s room. “I will never let him touch her I will kill him before he even try that” he thought as he reach her door. There he knocked and entered. She was standing with her back on him looking out of the window. “Luna… I came to see how it is going with you… Did you had good time with the prince?” “How do you know …” “You little naïve girl.. did you honestly think that I don’t know everything that’s happening around my tower?” and he moved close to her ” I am willing to forget about everything ,as long as you marry me. Be my wife. I waited all these years for your <yes> . ” “no”.. she said and pushed him away as he turned her back again. The anger was clear in the mages face , but he managed to hide it and talk calm again. “I can give you all the riches of the world. I can make the most beautiful and powerful queen of the night. If you continue to deny me you will continue to transform to a swan every day. Don’t you mind that?” “I don’t want any riches ..All I want is…” “What you want.. say it and I will give it to you.” “All I want .. is to live with the one I love.” “No.. it can’t be true. Don’t tell me that you are in love with Anduin.. He doesn’t want to be with you. I want to be with you all my life. Why can’t you just love me?” “Then cast a spell on me.. make me love you..after all you are the greatest wizard of the land.. are you not?” “Enough.. Even with sorcery I can’t force a human heart to love me. If I could do it I would not wait for 3 years for you to love me. Oh please my pretty Luna, why you torment me like this. How can you be in love with this prince with just one time that you met him?” “No you are mistaken.. all these years my heart belongs to him. I first loved Anduin when I first saw him on his horse on the shore of the lake.” “So he is the reason that you don’t love me.. Don’t make me hurt you. If I wanted I could transform you to an ugly frog or a worm to a little insect…” and saying this he snapped his fingers and Luna’s bird transformed into a frog ”But I didn’t do that.. I transformed you to a beautiful swan. Do you understand why ? Because I really love you” “I don’t believe that. If you truly loved me then you would only care for my happiness. And now Angoz if you really love me leave this room on this moment and leave me alone. Go away from me…” “How dare you talk to me like this? You want to go to the dance.. Do you think I will let you go ? Do you think I will let you leave this tower? Think carefully what I told you now.” He said and left her room slamming the door behind him then bared it and raised the drawbridge isolating her to her room..As she was watching through her bared window he smiled with an evil smile. “How you like it now Luna? Like a bird in a cage…Tomorrow at the dance the prince will be forced to choose another woman to make her his bride” and he started laughing as he was leaving.. She said that she will come.”“But my prince if the mage forbid her to come..?”“He can do it.. I have already taken my decision. I will never choose another one to become my wife.”“But if she doesn’t come?”“She will come. I believe in her.. she will come.”He was starting to even make plans for the tomorrow day and thinking about the way that they will dance in front of everybody. He was so in love with her that he was ready to give everything he had to be with her and to love her all his life.. The next day was busy with a lot of preparations. The whole castle and village was preparing for the great dance celebration and the crowning of the king. The prince had a lot of obligations to attend to, but had Luna all the time in his head and was waiting for the moment that the night would come and he would see her again. He believed in true love and that always love would find a way. Back at his tower Angoz was trying to find a way to make the odds on his favor and to make Luna love him. Luanel was with him.“I will simple kill him. Extinguish his pitiful existence and remove him from the way once and for all.”“This is what you think?” Luanel said. “Even if you kill him he will always live in her heart and she will never forgive you from what you have done to her.. You must be clever and think differently if you want even to have a chance with her.”“What do you mean my daughter?” he said as he was rubbing his beard..“You can use magic for the prince to fall in love with another woman..”“But I can’t affect the human heart. And he has eyes only for Luna. How is this possible?”Luanel laughed and waving her hands she casted an enchantment on her. Her image immediately started to change and in the end she was looking like Luna. The mage starting to understand her plan rubbed his hands in joy..“Yes.. you can go to the dance.. and the prince will choose you instead of her.”“Let her loose. Let her also go there to see it with her own eyes.. Give her hope and then take it away.. Then she will be yours..” Their satanic laugh filled the hallways as they were plotting against Luna and Anduin.. The prince wearing his royal clothes was in his balcony looking towards the magic lake and the tower that Luna was held captive.. Below carriages with horses were bringing the royal guests to the castle for the night ceremony. The time was approaching for him to choose his wife. Soon the sun was about to set.The royal trumpets were sounding the starting of the ceremony. The prince headed to the throne room where all the 6 princesses of the around kingdoms were garthering to show their amazing beauty and hope for the heart of the handsome and powerfull prince. He was looking anxiusly for Luna.. he was waiting for her to enter the room by any moment now…But she was locked in her room prison without hope of ever going anywhere..As Angoz and Luanel were leaving from the tower he told her that tomorrow he would marry her either she want it or not.. That made her sorrow even worse, but she didn’t know the more sinister plan that was in motion.. When the mage and his daughter were out of sight the locks on her door magically opened and the drawbridge was lowered. Suddenly she stopped crying and looked outside her window. The way was clear for her to go. That looked awkwardly strange but right now that was not what she was thinking. All that she was thinking was to reach to her love’s dance in time. She started running down the stairs as fast as the wind. In her mind was only Anduin and nothing else. The castle was away but she didn’t care. The dance was started and the ball room was full of people eating , drinking and dancing full of happiness and joy. The prince knew that the time he had was running short. After the couples danced the beginning opening dance, the 6 princesses gathered in front of the throne and started to represent themselves.“I present you princess Anya.. ” The herald said and the lovely young lady came front and bowed.“Congratulations for your birthday prince Anduin..” the princess said..“Luna…” sand prince Anduin..“My name is Anya…” said irritated the girl as she was going back to her position with the others. “And this is princess Katerina..” The herald said as he was introducing another beautiful princess. The young woman bowed in respect in front of the prince.“I wish you to have a happy life brave prince.” She said but her words reached the void since his mind was flying away to his only love to Luna.. One by one all the women passed and introduced themselves in front of him. When the last one finished the queen stood up and said “My son it’s time for you to choose the girl that you like among the princesses that are here and dance with her.” “Mother I don’t intend to marry any one of the princess that are here..” and as he turned to the audience “Listen to me everybody.. I’m sorry but the celebration is ended. I thank you princesses that you came from so far away but now you must go.” His words made the whole room to start talking. His mother was surprised and turned to ask him what are his whereabouts but that specific moment Luanel went inside the room transformed as Luna wearing a black dress. When the prince saw her he immediately became happy “Luna..” he said and he started moving towards her.Luna was running like the wind, she was very close to the castle now. She could see it to the far distance getting closer and closer.. All that she was wishing for is to go there on time and be in the hug of the one she loves..“Luna I knew you would come!!” The prince said..“My name is Luanel..”“What you said your name is? Luanel?” “Yes my name is Luanel and not Luna..”“But yesterday night..”“I am sure I told you my name is Luanel.. Maybe you didn’t hear it good?”“Luanel.. possibly I am mistaken, after all what is the importance of names.. What matters is that you are here now with me! Thank you for coming.” And he kissed her hand.“Who is that lovely woman with Anduin?” the queen asked.“I don’t know but she is very beautiful!”“It seems that Anduin likes her.. And now minister sign for the music to start!!” the queen said and the minister after waving his hand gave order to the band to start playing dance music. The prince started the dance with his bride dancing alone and the whole room admiring them.. As they were dancing they even moved out in the balcony.. there the evil mage transformed in an own was looking at them happily. By the time Luna was on the caste gates the dance was almost finished and the prince was ready to say his oaths to the woman he thought that was his chosen one. It was only little more and she would be united to the one of her heart. Two guards were in front of her forbidding her to pass through but as the power of love gave her strength , she pushed one of them knocking him down and rushed in the ball room. As she was rushing through the yard Angoz saw her and with a fast fly by, he landed behind her grabbing her strongly and covering her mouth. She couldn’t move and couldn’t break free as much as she was trying.. She closed her eyes in despair and sadness..“Since you came all this way I will show you something you will want to see…” he said as he was walking with her to the open window ball room.“Open your eyes and see your beloved one…” Luna opened her eyes and saw the man of her heart dancing with another woman.. tears came in her eyes and blurred them making her unable to see her own mirage that the prince was dancing with. Soon the dance was over and the music stopped. Anduin turned towards his mother and as he was holding Luanel’s hand he spoke loudly. “Mother to you and to all the guests that are now here. I would like to announce something very joyful. Today to the dance that was held on my birthday, I want to present you, princess Luanel , who soon will become my wife. ”“No..” she said and could not hold back the tears anymore.“If my child truly loves the one he chose then I don’t have any objections..”“Yes I am truly in love with her and I give an oath that I will love princess Luanel all my life.”Upon hearing these words Luna fainted and Angoz started laughing. And as he was holding her in his arms we moved to the ball room laughing loud. The prince heard his laughing and turned to his direction. Then he run towards him.“Who are you? How you came here?” Anduin said.“Prince.. finally you took an oath to love my daughter all your life.”“What are you saying? You must be Angoz.”“That’s right and now Luna will be mine forever.”“Luna you said? And who are you then?” he said as he turned to Luanel.“I told you.. I am Luanel..” she replied as she took her own self.”Now it’s too late to change your mind. You swore to marry me and to love me all your life. ”“No.. Luna..”Luna opened her eyes and as she saw him she turned the other way.“Forgive me Luna..” Anduin said..and a tear came down on his face..“No matter how much you cry, Luna belong to me now..” Angoz said and start laughing. Luna managed to break free by pushing the mage aside and started running..“Goodbye forever, my prince..” she said and tried to run away..“Luna wait!” Anduin yelled but Angoz hit his hands together and a wall of flame came forth in front of him. “It’s time for us to depart.” He said as he transformed to an owl and started to fly away. “Come Luna” he said as he casted a spell on her transforming her in a swan again. Luanel followed him ad a crow. Tears were coming out of the eyes of the magnificent white swan as she was flying back to her prison. The prince didn’t lose time and as he armed himself with his sword he rushed to the courtyard to go to his horse. His mother came out from the balcony upstairs.“Anduin! Do you understand what you are going to do? You will fight a mighty mage!!”“Please forgive me..I know its dangerous what I do but I must do it to save Luna.”“From today you are a king and you can’t do as you like!..”“Mother… forgive me.” He said as he removed his crown and put it on the ground and started running.“Anduin… Anduin..!!!” she said but her words were gone unheard… As he was riding his horse through the castle gates he was running like the wind headed to the enchanted lake and then to the tower that the mage was keeping the love of his life..At the tower Luna was back in her human form and was crying in her prison room on her sofa. Angoz was with her.“Cry now as much as you want Luna but sooner or later you will forget Anduin, and marry me. I will always….” His words were interrupted from the sound of a horse downstairs.“Prince Anduin!!” Luna said..“Again him… I won’t tolerate this.” He said and left the room going to face him.The prince was running up the stairs holding his sword in front of him. Angoz was waiting in the end of the stairs.“Come on Angoz. I came here to take Luna with me.”“Did you think it good to attack me? Do you know who I am? I m the greatest wizard of the realm!” and as hi hit his hand on his waist flames came forth in front of the prince pushing him down the stairs.Luna came out of her room and was watching the fight below.“Stop it. Please Anduin go! If you fight him you will lose your life.”“Don’t worry. My father will not kill him. He just wants to scare him away from here. Right father?” “Right. Why should I kill him? He swore to love you for the rest of his life.”“Father look out Luna run away!!” she said, causing the mage to lose focus and run behind his price woman. With the flames away Anduin rushed like a meaning bull the stairs and entered the tower.“Where are you Luna? Where you went to hide…” Angoz said as he was looking for her. Behind him Anduin showed up. “Luna..” he said.. and behind a column that was hiding Luna came to the sound of her loves voice and walking behind she approached him.“You must go my love.”“Don’t worry about me. I came here to destroy him.” And he moved in front of her.“Hahahahaha be careful of what you are saying. I may lose my patience and kill you” and he opened and closed his robe creating powerful winds that almost blew the prince back. Last minute making a sidestep he hid himself and Luna in a round stair corridor. “Now I ll show you.” Angoz said and as he picked up a small stick from the ground he blowed some air on it and it became a sword. Anduin charged him and their two swords colied in fury and anger. The mages power was too much for the young prince who was fighting defensively going back more and more as he was going up the round stairs. “It’s amusing to see you struggle. Go back while you still breathing.” And as he hit his fist on the wall, it collapsed between Luna and Anduin, trapping the prince who was unable to retreat back anymore. Luanel flew on top of the stairs and looked down to the swordfight.“Trapped like a mouse. If you swear to me that you will live with my daughter in your castle I will spare your life.”“Never. Never! I WILL NEVER MARRY YOUR DAUGHTER .” The prince replied yelling. Luanel who heard this on top of the stairs became furious.“You dare to offend me like this!? FATHER KILL HIM. KILL HIM AT ONCE.”“Yes I will do that. It took enough.” And turning to some vines that were next to him, he cut them and they became alive, rushing up to the prince and grabbing him from his legs dragging him down the stairs. With the fall his sword was fell on the void below.“Come Luna see the show..” he said as he was holding Anduin on the swordpoint.“No.. Please stop.” “You want me to spare his life?”“Yes please let him go. Let him live.” The mage smiled ironically..“hm.. If you want me to spare his life.. you must swore to marry me, if you want him to live you must love me eternal.”“NO DON’T DO IT, MY LIFE MEANS NOTHING. YOU MUST NEVER GIVE YOUR LOVE TO HIM.”“So? What should it be? Shall I kill him or not???”“Wait!”“NO DON’T DO IT.I DON’T CARE FOR MY LIFE.”“So what is it Luna? Either you swear to belong to me and love me or he dies.”“I swear to love you Angoz with all my..”“NOOOO” the prince yelled and grabbing the blade that was in front of his throat he pushed it in his own heart… A huge wave of light filled the tower and then the castle.. The evil mage and his daughter tried to escape as birds but the bright light cleansed them burning them to ash while flying.. Without Angoz’s magic to hold the tower standing it started to collapse. The towers and bridges crumbled as they were going down destroying everything on their path. The sun was rising and a new day was born.. As the sun fell on the lake the stoned statue of Olaf came back to life. With the evil mage gone all his enchantments were broken. On the ground where the tower once was, was only grass and flowers. The cage of the princess was open and her bird flew out and landed on the sword that pierced young Anduin’s heart. Under the sword were flowers grown to shape a heart. Luna was unconscious next to it. As the sun bathed her face she opened her eyes…“Anduin…” she said..a tear came out from her eye in memory of the love of her life who gave his life as sacrifice for her to be free. For her to have a chance to live a life as she deserved. He was brave and she would love him forever.. Her tears became crying and then loud crying. “Why you crying my princess?” She raised her head and saw Anduin in front of her, smiling at her.“How..!!” “True love set you free.
